Informing the customer about the processing of personal data, General Data Protection Regulation (EU, 2016/769, Article 12)

The personal data provided by the person filling in the housing application is stored in Ruukin Villa Oy’s customer register. Customer-specific information is also collected in the customer register.

The data controller is Ruukin Villa Oy and the contact person is Matti Toppila, Managing Director.

Personal data are required for invoicing and contacting. Data are also used for statistical purposes.

E-mail information is used for customer communications. The customer has the right, if he or she so wishes, to prohibit communications by e-mail.

Customer invoicing information is given to the invoicing department Customer data are not disclosed outside the EU or EEA.

Customer data are processed by persons whose job it is to take care of the rental activities, communications and invoicing of Ruukin Villa Oy.

Personal data are stored for as long as the customer relationship is valid. Data related to invoicing and accounting are stored for the period required by the Accounting Act.

Customers have the right to have their data printed in a structured form and transfer their data from one system to another.

Customers have the right to object to the processing of their personal data and to request rectification, restriction and deletion of data unless this right is restricted by any separate legislation. The request must be submitted to Ruukin Villa Oy in writing.

The customer has the right to lodge an appeal with the supervisory authority if the customer considers that the processing of personal data concerning him or her breaches the General Data Protection Regulation or if his or her requests have not been answered within one month.
